Hostel Information

Hostel Anton is open throughout the whole year.
We are placed in Tivat, a town situated in the middle of Boka Kotorska bay, (Boka Bay/ Bocca di Cattaro) the largest and the only fjord in the Mediterranean Sea.
Tivat has a perfect location, and that is the reason why people usually say that it is situated “in the heart of Bocca Bay'. That is very important because its position allows easy and quick transfer everywhere around. That was the reason why in the history of Tivat there were lots of empires which conquered Tivat because of its perfect position, beauty and its surroundings. We are situated just 7 km from Kotor- UNESCO town, 20 km from Budva- and 18 km from Herceg Novi, the most important towns of Montenegrin coast.
Hostel Anton is just 3 km from the airport which is located in Tivat and 700 meters from the bus station.
Railway station is located in the Sutomore and is 60 km from Tivat.
Tivat is just 88 km from the capital city of Montenegro, Podgorica, 25 km from the Croatian border, 60 km from Dubrovnik, 30 km from the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, 100 km from the border with Albania and 180 km from the border with Serbia. Our Hostel is situated 500 meters from the sea. Prices include breakfast, free of charge use of kitchen and Internet.
You can use the common room with bar and television, from 08.00 -23.00 (in case of bad weather to 01.0o).
We also have a lounge bar outside the hostel, which is open 24h a day, as well as an open- air bar until 1.00. The lounge bar is surrounded by beautiful greenery, and behind the open-air bar there is a forest and mountain Vrmac. So you can really enjoy the nature around you and feel like you are part of it. Birds give you the special feeling that you can hear the nature, not only see it. 
Prices of drinks and food are symbolic.
Welcome drink coffee and tee are for free.
We have cooperation with the taxi service for reasonable prices for all types of arrivals to Hostel Anton of border crossings, bus stations or airport.
We have designed a very interesting program for our guests and we offer excursion all over the Montenegro including white water rafting on river Tara, the biggest canyon in  Europe, climbing on Durmitor mountain, visiting monastery Ostrog, visiting Skadar lake, old towns, traditional villages, fish picnic, diving, horse- riding, traditional lunch and more.
Each room in the hostel has a sea view and also you can see the most beautiful sunset in the Tivat‘s Bay.

Taxi prices in Tivat are very favorable, only 1 euro from the bus station to the hostel.
